CDL-A Theory ELDT covers the federal knowledge foundation for Class A trucks: vehicle inspection, safe operation, cargo handling, and hazardous material awareness. It does NOT include air brakes, general knowledge, or combination vehicle questions — those are DMV knowledge-test topics. BTW (behind-the-wheel training) is required separately at a local FMCSA-registered provider — DLA Academy does not provide BTW.
