Do I need ELDT for endorsement upgrades, or am I grandfathered?
If you got your CDL before February 7, 2022, you keep your current license without retroactive ELDT. But any NEW endorsement — even if your license is older — requires FMCSA-approved ELDT. The NM MVD will not process your endorsement without proof of completion. DLA Academy auto-submits to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry, and NM MVD verifies the record there.
