Iowa Passenger ELDT – Get Your P Endorsement Online

The Passenger ELDT is required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) if you want to drive a commercial vehicle carrying 16 or more passengers (including the driver). You need this course before you can take the Iowa DOT MVD's skills test for the P endorsement. If you already hold a valid CDL issued before February 7, 2022, you're grandfathered and don't need ELDT. But if you're upgrading your CDL or applying for the first time, ELDT is mandatory.
