Do I need ELDT if I already have a CDL from before February 7, 2022?+
If you got your CDL before February 7, 2022, you're grandfathered and don't need ELDT to keep that license. However, if you're upgrading to a different class (like Class A) or adding a new endorsement (Hazmat, Passenger, School Bus), you'll need ELDT for that upgrade or endorsement, even if your base license is grandfathered.
