How much does DLA Academy ELDT cost?+

Individual ELDT courses are $20 each (CDL-A Theory, CDL-B Theory, Hazmat, Passenger, School Bus). CDL-A Permit Practice Test is $15. We also offer bundles: CDL Complete ($45, saves $10), 3-Endorsement ($50, saves $10), and Hazmat + Test Prep ($30, saves $5). We're the lowest-priced FMCSA-approved option.

How long does it take to complete an ELDT course?+

Each individual ELDT course completes in under 2 hours. You can finish and submit in a single sitting. We'll auto-submit your completion to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry within 24 hours.

Do I need both ELDT and the DMV permit test?+

Yes. DLA Academy's ELDT courses ($20 each) meet the federal FMCSA requirement. The CDL-A Permit Practice Test ($15) is a study tool for Indiana BMV's CLP knowledge test—it's not ELDT and doesn't replace ELDT. You take the permit test at the Indiana BMV. Many drivers pair CDL-A Theory ELDT with our Permit Practice Test to prepare for both.
