Indiana Passenger ELDT — Online P Endorsement Training

The Passenger ELDT is FMCSA-approved entry-level driver training for the P endorsement. You need it if you want to operate a passenger vehicle with 16 or more occupants (including the driver). If your CDL was issued before February 7, 2022, you're grandfathered and don't need ELDT for your existing license — but if you're adding the P endorsement or upgrading your license class, you must complete Passenger ELDT first.

The Passenger ELDT is $20. That's the lowest price for an FMCSA-approved course — other providers typically charge $23–$75. If you're getting multiple endorsements, the 3-Endorsement Bundle (Hazmat + Passenger + School Bus) is $50, saving you $10 versus buying each course individually.

Indiana BMV requires you to complete FMCSA-approved ELDT (that's this course), then pass the P endorsement knowledge test and skills test at an Indiana BMV office or authorized testing center.
