Who needs to take Hazmat ELDT?+
Anyone applying for a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a Hazmat (H) endorsement must complete FMCSA-approved ELDT before taking the WV DMV skills test. If you obtained your CDL before February 7, 2022, you are grandfathered and do not need ELDT. Upgrades to an existing CDL still require ELDT.
