Hawaii Hazmat ELDT — FMCSA-Approved Online Training

Anyone applying for a hazmat (H) endorsement on their Commercial Driver License (CDL) in Hawaii must complete Hazmat ELDT. If you already hold a CDL issued before February 7, 2022, you are grandfathered and do not need ELDT. If you are upgrading your CDL class or adding an endorsement after that date, you must complete the relevant ELDT course. The Hawaii DOT will require proof of completion when you apply for the H endorsement.
