Passenger ELDT in Alabama – P Endorsement Training

You need Passenger ELDT if you're applying for a P endorsement to drive passenger vehicles rated for 16 or more occupants (including the driver). If your current Alabama CDL was issued before February 7, 2022, you're grandfathered in and don't need ELDT for that endorsement. But if you're upgrading or adding the P endorsement after that date, ALEA requires you to complete FMCSA-approved ELDT first.
