Yes. Any driver seeking the H (Hazmat), P (Passenger), or S (School Bus) endorsement must complete FMCSA-approved ELDT before applying to the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (NV DMV). The only exception is if your CDL was issued before February 7, 2022 — those licenses are grandfathered. If you're upgrading or renewing an endorsement, ELDT is still required.
