Wyoming Passenger ELDT – P Endorsement Training

The Passenger ELDT covers safe operation of vehicles designed to carry 16 or more passengers (including the driver). You need it to get a P endorsement on your CDL. If your CDL was issued before February 7, 2022, you're grandfathered in and don't need ELDT. If you're upgrading a Class A or Class B CDL, or adding any endorsement after that date, you must complete the required ELDT course(s).

The Passenger ELDT is $20. It's the lowest-priced FMCSA-approved option — other providers typically charge $23–$75 for the same course. If you're pursuing multiple endorsements, the 3-Endorsement Bundle (Hazmat + Passenger + School Bus) is $50 and saves you $10.

The Passenger ELDT completes in under 2 hours. You can finish in one sitting or spread it across a few sessions — no time limit. After completion, your certificate is auto-submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry within 24 hours.

Take it (or your TPR confirmation) to WYDOT when you're ready to schedule your CDL skills test.
